Cancer Survivor Follows Her Lifelong Design Dreams
When I was a senior in High School I had decided to explore interior design, well wouldn't you know I met my husband now of "21" years and that all changed! I was doing property management and my husband was accepted into dental school. I continued to work in the property management field putting my husband through school and supporting our family, we had our first son my husbands first year of dental school. I continued in property management until I had our third son and than had the opportunity to stay home a few years. I was driving myself crazy always changing things I had just changed to keep me busy, so I got my real estate license. I mainly got it to have the luxury of looking at decorated homes whenever I wanted to. That was over 12 years ago. My husband always encouraged me to go to school and get my degree in interior design. I always had excuses the boys were too young, not enough time to study, etc. We have 3 boys which are now 14, 16, and 19. I would look at classes on line than freeze. I finally took the step when a great friend encouraged me to follow my dream right when I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 37. I made it through my cancer treatments without a hiccup. I explored many staging courses when I came across your company and loved what I saw! I loved all the phone conferences and hearing how others were doing. The material I received I still use today. Anytime I had a question it was always answered immediately the instruction and guidance was top notch. I have a pretty good business sense about me, but there were so many other things I never considered when starting my business till I took your course. I attribute Staging on a Budget's success story to my committing to your course and the material you are constantly updating and making available to your members.
