Staged and SoldAnother HSR Member Success Story...
I couldn't have done this without the home staging training that I received from the Home Staging Resource. My husband wrote me the best note ever, which said how proud he was of me with the way I managed the project coordinating vendors, installers, contracts, staging, etc. I told him that the training that I received from HSR was invaluable in helping me move ahead. I am so excited in looking forward to my full career of staging and helping home owners with the stress of the selling their home. Here is the
before-and-after photo show of the home: Keep in mind that she didn't want to have to purchase much of anything and there wasn't much in the house. I did convince her to buy some living room furniture, paint the kitchen cabinets, and get new blinds. The rest of the items were things we gathered from other areas of the house or things I had on hand in inventory -- which isn't much on both sides because the house didn't have much, and with me being new, I don't have that much either. The best part about the whole thing is that I feel like I helped someone who needed it. The owner is taking care of her Mom's estate and the house is a part of that estate. She is having to do everything herself, even though there are other siblings who will receive proceeds from the estate. She was a little overwhelmed, and I feel like I was able to help take some of the burden off of her by coordinating the painting, carpet and furniture, and ordering new shades for her (not installed yet in the photos).
